Guys- I have my boat at The Maintenance Shop right now and I am putting about $1000 in it to get it fixed up for the season. Thing is, I am having my 1983 Johnson 25 horse outboard cleaned and painted and I want to put some new decals on the cowling. I have Googled a lot of different search topics to try to find some sharp looking decals but so far no luck. Hoping some of you can help me find some decals to dress my motor out where it will look sharp. Thanks all...Mike

You have a couple of options. 1st do you have any good pixs of the cowl before it was stripped of the decals?
Dealer for new decals will look original, but expensive.
With the pix's and cowl in hand after painting take it to Compu Grapix and have them duplicate the striping.

Thank you guys for replying. I like the graphics from Replical- you think I could pass my 25 off as a 200? Even if I can't I'll put some of these good looking stickers on my newly refurbished outboard if I can't find some graphics for a 25 horse. I figure I'll sell my boat next year so I am putting money into it now so I'll be able to sell for a fair price. Y'all remember me when I put it in the for sale section next year... Mike

| 25yr old Johnson with a clean cowl. sounds like the perfect canvas for one of our local airbrush guys to hook you up with one or all of the following. flames, mountain scene, pair of boobs, skull and cross bones, lightning bolt, anarchy sign, a picture of your dog, picture of your truck, smiley face, "Big" "Johnson", an Arkansas Razorback, barbed wire, Palmala Handerson, a palm tree, cadillac emblem, little johnny peeing on something that you don't like, AC/DC, American Flag, any one or your favorite woodland creatures, you get the picture. Or any other stupid rednecky thing that you can think of. Don't let a perfect opportunity to be goofy pass you buy in order to put original stickers on. Send me a PM if you need help I've only just begun.

they sell them on ebay. go to boat parts and acessories and type johnson. you can then narrow it down on the side menu. decals should be one of the menu's.
