Capt. John Rivers (2/16/2008)
They are there a little bit, but they usually don't show up thick till around the middle of March.

Why are they thick in Destin right now, but don't get here for a month or so later??

Thanks!

Any luck catching them here using small hermit crabs?? Haven't tried using those down here yet...

i just use fiddler crabs. They are better than shrimp & cant be beat for $1 a dozen. best way to clean them is with an electric knife. I kinda wanna make the trip today-they sure are fun on 6lb tackle.
