Riding on Perdido Key drive yesterday towards Orange Beach and saw 2 Pink Flamingos fly across the road about 25' up heading south.  First spotted by Jim from the Reef and this was prior to us drinking.  We have never seen them here before, possibly excaped from Gulf Shores' zoo?

Do these aberrations normally go away after a couple of drinks?

Yup, I saw those same two ................. uh, no wait, those were elephants I saw the other night, sorry.

I guess they were floating instead of flying and they hadn't had a single thing to drink either!! (Hic)

Perdido Flamingos

These pink flamingos were sighted by 15 year old Ross Moore of Fairhope on Perdido Key on the morning of September 1st, obviously blown slightly off course by the winds of Hurricane Gustav.

So...the alcohol "problem" in the Panhandle is much larger than I thought.  Must be from all the storm stress.
