GUN SHOW THIS WEEKEND

I am going to the gun show tommorow and it will be my first one , can anyone give me advice on what to exspect as far as deals? I have heard everything from the panic will cause prices/availability to be a problem, to sellers will be trying to get rid of things that might be baned creating low prices.I have all the hunting rifles I need but always in the market for a cool assault rifle , do you think the show will have any at good prices?

Foreword.

This is a work of total fiction. Well, maybe not. There are definitely some things in the tale most folks here probably never knew. Ferinstance, did anybody know there was a Jewish-Hindu Trading Post in north Georgia more than 900 years ago? Do you know the ancient meaning of Tallahassee or Tuscaloosa? Probably not! What about how ancient footballs were made? Ever heard of Vijay Fiengold or Hymie Patel? Did you know that the Kama Sutra was read by Native Americans more than 900 years ago? Probably not!

If you are gonna get upset about the mention and, yes, even the cultivation, distribution, and use of Marijuana like you never heard before, let me know and I won't tell the tale here. This is gonna take a while. Some of my stories have a hundred or more chapters. So far, this tale has only 12 chapters and a general outline. As it unfolds, I'll probably solicit ideas for additional twists and turns from you guys. I am always open for suggestions and, if I knew some of you, you might find yourself enmeshed.

Hopefully there will be 50 chapters by the end of the year and a lot more next year.

Oh yeah, I hope folks have thick skins when it comes to their favorite football teams because I am an Auburn fan and Auburn hadn't been invented when the early part of this tale took place.

Mods. I won't start the tale until I find out if folks have a problem with it. The content is certainly not as bad as PG-13.

the other night i made a "fattie" out of ground chuck.

here is the bell peppers, green onions, minced garlic and minced jalapeno's

with cheese added!

i rolled that bad boy up!

about 50 min. on the Egg. around 340 degrees. looking for the internal temp. of 170. (wireless thermometer)

just off the Egg and ready for the knife!

we made hamburgers out of them. man were they good!!

screen replacement for patio enclosurer

I'm in need of someone who replaces screens in patio enclosurers.

I called a company in the phone book and they wanted to replace everything!!!! Just can't replace the screen!!!! I had all that done 2 years ago. Glad my mechanic's not like that, "Well, you have a nail in the right front tire, You'll have to replace all four tires!!!"

Right now I am working on my AA at Tallahassee Community College and will be transferring to FSU next fall. My degree is Political Science and I hope to go to law school after I graduate.

I can't stand todays media and TV programing.

The Andy Griffith Show comes on around 6:30pm and I have gotten my two boys to start watching it and they have started enjoying it. The other night the episode where Opie has a bully that is picking on him at school, and he has to stand up to him was the show that we watched. My two boys laughed so hard when Opie stood there with his dukes up "Old School" when he stood up to the bully. I don't get to watch it with them everyday, but we all three get a kick out of it when we do.

What a blatantly uncalled for comment. This young man (Rolle) is an example for every kid in the country. For Andrews to make such a comment shows the kind of program that exists at FSU.

I hope Rolle is selected as a Rhodes Scholar tomorrow and returns to stuff a football in any available Andrews orfice.

I use a Chev. Surburban 2500 4wd as a hunting truck and have never really gotten it stuck, but I don't take it many places that it would get stuck in because it is like driving a school bus in the woods. So I pretty much take it to where I am going to hunt and then ATV are ride with someone that is going my way if needed. But I have seen some great pictures of bogged in stuck trucks.

Tried out the "NEW" place on Woodbine Rd. in Pace and it was great had the fried oysters (flipping awesome) with a caribbian dipping sauce, and a cajun burger also good.

The last establishment in there sucked this is good. Makes everything in the kitchen except the cheese sticks and buys desserts from a local vender. I say try it

I didn't pay much attention and tried to open it but my virus protection caught it. I had recently sent out a package through the USPS. After it happened I could see it was a fake but at first glance I didn't notice it. It may be something to look out for with the holidays coming up.

My New Parrot

thought i'd drag this back out there...

Recently I received a parrot as a gift.

The parrot had a bad attitude and an even worse vocabulary.
Every word out of the bird's mouth was rude, obnoxious and laced with
profanity.

I tried and tried to change the bird's attitude by consistently
saying only polite words, playing soft music and anything else I could
think of to "clean up" the bird's vocabulary.

Finally, I was fed up and I yelled at the parrot.

The parrot yelled back.

I shook the parrot and the parrot got angrier and even ruder.

So, in desperation, I threw up my hands, grabbed the bird and

put him in the freezer.

For a few minutes the parrot squawked and kicked and screamed.

Then suddenly there was total quiet.

Not a peep was heard for over a minute.

Fearing that I'd hurt the parrot,

I quickly opened the door to the freezer.

The parrot calmly stepped out onto my outstretched arms and said

"I believe I may have offended you with my rude language and actions.

I'm sincerely remorseful for my inappropriate transgressions and

I fully intend to do everything I can to correct my rude and unforgivable behavior."

I was stunned at the change in the bird's attitude.

As I was about to ask the parrot what had made such a dramatic

change in his behavior, the bird continued,

"May I ask what the turkey did?"
